Chloe Cook
I am a Junior at Greenwich Academy in Greenwich, Connecticut. I am passionate about science and math and love problem-solving. Alongside my academic pursuits, I also love sports; the competitive aspects as well as the team camaraderie. My favorite sports are lacrosse and basketball, which I play competitively at Greenwich Academy. I am also passionate about giving back to my community. I have participated in delivering food to underprivileged families as well as coaching younger kids in lacrosse. Connecting my passion of sports to giving back is extremely rewarding, and a great combination. Through school work, athletics, and engaging with my community, I feel I have a well-rounded approach to life, and can leave positive impacts in these realms.
Chris Cataldo
I'm a high school Senior from Greenwich, Connecticut. I've volunteered with organizations in my town that support domestic violence relief and the food insecure since middle school. I'm a competitive lacrosse and ice hockey captain at Greenwich High School. In the classroom, I've always been drawn to studying mathematics and economics. When I'm not on the playing field or studying, I often find myself getting too competitive with my twin brother playing video games or in our backyard. Some of my favorite books are One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Maze Runner, and The Longest Yard.
John Cataldo
Hi, my name is John Cataldo and I am currently a senior at Greenwich High School (GHS). At GHS, I strive to push myself academically, taking many advanced classes throughout my high school years. In addition to working really hard in the classroom, I also pursue many passions outside of the classroom. I have been a member of the varsity ice hockey and lacrosse teams since my Freshman year. During my Freshman year, my hockey team was runner up for both the State and FCIAC tournaments. Additionally, for my Senior year, I was elected captain for the varsity lacrosse team. For both these sports, I seek to make valuable contributions both on and off the playing field/ice all through my Senior year. When I am not doing school work or on the sports fields, I enjoy spending time with my family and reading books.
Jack Cook
I've been a sports fan, on and off the field, for as long as I can remember. I am a senior at Greenwich High School and have played both football and lacrosse for the past four years. I've studied Mandarin and Asian culture since middle school, and I am interested in combining this passion with business as a career in the future. Sports Give Back combines our passion for sports and our desire to give back to people in need. During the past year, COVID has created many challenges for people in our community, and we are happy to be able to support as many people as we can through our 501( c ) (3).
